Hudson Consulting has provided strategic planning and project management for HP’s award-winning Global Citizenship Report in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 (underway). We assist HP throughout the reporting life cycle: devising reporting strategy, performing analysis and benchmarking, producing report recommendations, assisting in project definition, contributing to content research and development, managing drafting and review, and coordinating post-launch assessment.

HP’s Global Citizenship Report 2008 highlights progress against the company’s global citizenship focus areas: ethics and compliance, human rights and labor practices, environmental sustainability, privacy and social investment. The web version includes several innovative features such as a dynamic supply chain audit findings tool, an interactive data and goals dashboard and a custom report tool.

We also help HP produce its Global Citizenship Customer Report, a 20-page print version targeted specifically at enterprise and public sector customers and translated into numerous languages.

HP has received extensive external recognition for its Global Citizenship Reports, including the following:

  • Awarded 1st Runner Up – Creativity in Communications, CR Reporting Awards 2007, sponsored by CorporateRegister.com.
  • CERES and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) rated HP’s 2005 Global Citizenship Report Best Sustainability Report.
