Davidhudson

David Hudson founded Hudson Consulting in 2001 and has spent the last eight years advising major corporations on sustainability. He focuses on reporting as well as sustainability strategy, competitive benchmarking, analysis, and metrics and goals development.

He has worked with leading companies in a range of industries including HP, Baxter, Autodesk, Analog Devices, Lilly, Medtronic, Millipore and Pfizer. See examples of recent work. He has a broad network of expert colleagues (writers, designers, reviewers, assurance providers) to engage on projects as is appropriate.

Prior to working as a consultant, David served for three years as IT Director at Business for Social Responsibility. In that role, he built the IT department and helped design the strategy for and managed production of the organization's corporate responsibility resource center.

David holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California-Berkeley and a philosophy degree with distinction from Carleton College. He lives in Portland, Oregon, with his wife and two daughters.
